Well, with Dice showing Battlefield 3 at GDC in a matter of days, I hope Activision are ready to be embarrassed. Their Continuously recycled Call of Duty 4 Engine looks like crap before the introduction of Frostbite 2, nevermind after...
Good review, however, I wouldn't mark the game down because of those of who play it, the developer has no influence over that detail. I like the somewhat Comic-Like Grohics as they suit the world well however I find it somewhat lacking in comparison to Stret Fighter IV's visuals and also somewhat miss the 2D Style of the last MvC title and would have been content with HD artwork. However nonetheless I like the visuals. Good Review for a good game...
Rhod confirmed via Twitter and the forum he's been editing together LOTS of new Gameplay footage for tomorrow. Aurgh, I can't wait! :P
As an Avid Reader of "The Walking Dead" Series this is great news for me, I just hope they keep the gritty black and white colour scheme that works so brilliantly in the comics...
Its a LIVE Arcade title, its name has escaped me but as soon as I remember I shall send you both the name and details in a message...
I have high hopes for this title, oh how I have longed for an emotional Zombie title. Whilst I enjoy hacking hordes of Zombies to death just as much as the next guy I just feel as though there is something crucial missing. When playing Left 4 Dead 1 or 2 I fel little remorse for fallen characters, same with Dead Rising, but the compelling trailer released earlier today showed that emotions work well within the title. I hope that for the 4 Player Co-Op they implement a mode where upon dying yo...
And he actually has a bond with his fans, he respects them and listens to them. I've heard many a story about him helping budding developer-wannabies get jobs in the industry...
That is the only department were Bungie fall short in my eyes. The Multiplayer is brilliant yet the campaign, whilst on an Epic scale, feels tedious and repetetive. However overall the games feature such a huge amount of options they are brilliant...
If your looking for an answer to the articles question, the most honest answer is not to be found here, what with so many comments being biased. Atleast play the game before judging it, those of you who only own a PS3, dont give false-impressions of the game. Bungie are fantastic developers and have crafted a fantastic engaging universe with an incredibly addicting multiplayer. I find it funny how the majority of PS3 gamers when hearing of Bungies project being multiplatform said how brillian...
Cliffy B is a Legend, why many people complain about him I don't understand. I and many others have a great deal to thank him for, God knows how many hours I've piled in to Gears of War (1 & 2). I'm eagerly anticipating the Beta and the full game release, what with the franchise being my favourite. With the Beta rumoured to begin in April, I'm uncertain as to what aspect of the game may be discussed, but whatever he discuss', I'm sure it'll go down well.
The entire Call of Duty franchise is an embarrassment to the Gaming Industry. It emplies that a game can be contiously recycled with little creativity or improvment and still sell like hot cakes...
Let's be honest, it's hardly dificult to beat Call of Duty these days, each game is a recycled product of its predecessor with a new campaign. Sales the game doesnt stand a chance, however quality, well, like I said, its not hard to defeat a Call of Duty game in that catagory.
APB had SO much potential, however I think the game would have been better or equally suited on Consoles. With the GTA franchise such a huge fan-base on Xbox and PS3 the game couldn't have failed. I wish these guy's luck, it cant be easy admitting defeat, but to return with their head held high for a second attempt... thats courageous.
Lets hope that this helps Microsoft realise that they need to care for the Hardcore gamers with some innivotive shooters for Kinect or others, I'm sick of seeing "Kinectimals" and such. In fact, being primarily a 360 Gamer, it enfuriates me that Microsoft are forgetting those that made them huge in the console industry. Thank God for Gears of War 3 (My favourite franchise)...
"Last Window: The Secret of Cape West", I hope you enjoy it, its a fantastic game. Its a shame the Developers (Cing) filed for Bankruptcy, they knew how to make such great games...
Whilst I know many will disagree, we all have our own personal opinions and I respects others, my Game of the Year for 2010 was either Mafia II or Halo Reach. Mafia II's story was gripping from start to finish and Halo's multiplayer was a tremendous success (Whilst still not tearing me away from my beloved Gears of War).
I think 2010 was a good year all around, personally I hope 2011 proves the one year we can go without another Call of Duty being annoiuced with those not in ...
I'm anxious as to what the trademarked title "Borderworlds" is for, is a sequel in the works? And if so is it an MMO title?
But, before we hear anymore of a sequel lets hope Gearbox set their consentration on the games yet to release that are currently in production, I've been waiting since 2008 for Alien Colonial Marines. And god knows how long we've all be waiting for Duke Nukem Forever...
Credit where its due though, Gearbox, like...
Hotel Dusk is to date my favourite DS title and is a fantastic game. Its Sequel is also and incredible thought-provoking hand-held title. Both games grip you, I was unable to stop playing both until completion.
Dead Rising 2: Case West is (in my eyes) a worthy purchase. How the reviewer can justify his obscene score of a pathetic 5 out of 10 is beyond me. What he doesn't seem to understand is the fact that the Dead Rising franchise encourages the gamer to use other objects to combat the zombies and be creative in doing so, the game isn't a Third Person Shooter, if anything its a Hack n' Slash, therefor great shooting mechanics shouldnt be expected. I get this horrible feeling that the re...
Well, you might aswell go and watch gameplay for Modern Warfare 2, because this'll just be another recycling...
